What to visit

When the tide is out, old bottles and coins have been found on the shore, and some are still hoping to find a nugget from the Royal Charter (which sank in 1859).

Across the road, you can enjoy the local pub, The Antelope Inn, where you can have food, a beer garden, and, since it’s pet friendly, you can enjoy it with your dog/s.

There are many local bars and restaurants in Menai Bridge, a ten minute walk into town centre.

Treborth walk and cycle tracks start at our property.

 Locally,

The famous statue of Admiral Horatio Nelson in the Water, ( who said, If you can sail the Menai Strait You can sail anywhere )

The 30 tonne Majestic Lions under the other bridge,

The Cycle track through the caves at Bethesda,

You can take boat trips, from Beaumaris across the Strait to Puffin Island – dolphins and seals occasionally, and of course puffins will hopefully entertain your trip.

You should see the ever so fast RIB ride speed boat fly past (during the summer months) whilst on the balcony, as well as the many local tourist boats.

For the experienced The 60 mile around Anglesey cycle circuit,

( we do have a bike vehicle and if planned and we are here, we can help out occasionally with transport with bikes and sports gear )

A couple of local golf courses Bangor, Holyhead.

Let’s not forget the beautiful beach at Newborough,

( note Newborough parking charge)

which is great for a picnic.

Boat trips and  courses can be booked locally.

When it comes to local pubs/bars/restaurants,

there is the Bridge Inn and the Liverpool Arms, as well as the Popular Speckled Angel, Sage Kitchen restaurant, Dylan’s Restaurant

coupled with the Local Chinese, Indian Restaurants.
